Are there any reports on the progress of this beetle other than in Florida
and parts of the Carolina's?  I opted to stay with apistan for mite control
(where it is still working for me) instead of comophos, but every time I see
any kind of small black beetle (say, on a neighbor's hat) I get nervous.
