A friend bought the Moultrie GameSpy L50 in order to find out what kind of critter was molesting his hives.     It has an infra-red flash to take pictures at night without spooking the target.   Sensors require some tuning for success.  Cost  $100 CDN.

(Turned out his culprit was feralized housecats)
