This is a fairly common occurence, and I wonder whether the queen *actually*
is inferior, or if the bees just sense that her genetics are quite different
than theirs and therefore are not satisfied with her.  I had the impression
(not quantified, not scientific, but the distinct impression) that I had a
larger amount of supersedure after requeening when I was changing races
(introducing Carniolan or Caucasian queens to Italian bees).
