I understand that currently there is plenty of food but often it is in 
the wrong places. Another problem noted is that subsidised surplus 
grain is shipped across the world and dumped in poor countries, meaning 
that the farmers there can't make a living as they're undercut. There 
probably isn't a simple answer but beekeepers could help by supporting 
charities like Bees for Development which, inter alia, help people 
develop their local markets for their products.          Chris
