I have seen dragonflies pluck a honeybee from the air.  In some areas here in
Alaska, as in other areas, there are more dragon flies than in other areas (near
swamps, etc.).  There were thriving hives where I saw this predator at work, and
several dragon flies.  It is hard to imagine there would be enough dragon fly
predation to impact hive population significantly though.
