Of course, what was I thinking? Actual time inspecting hives is but a fraction of time spent over all. Better screw my brain back in. One hour total inspection per year seems reasonable. Especially, if the beekeeper has experience. Still, that adds up to a lot of hours spent staring into a beehive. My apologies for muddling up the discussion.
