I tried a extensive trial of the OA-Glycerin on Towels protocol last June-October Didn't knock back mites in any meaningful way, after the initial 3 or 4 days. How are the new "formulations" any different ?

Nucs with OA-Glycerin towels had a much higher loss percentage than Amitraz treated ones. Not just from mites, but from otherwise inexplicable queen losses.

I think there may be a rather narrow seasonal, and hive size, restrictions on implementation of the method.
