We installed several packages this past Sat..  The outside air temp
was 42 deg. F., gentle winds and cloudy.  The bees were shaken into
the top of the single deep.  They were a little slow to work down, it
took about 20 to 30 minutes for them to work down enough to put the
inner cover on.  We installed three pound packages.  Sunday was a
partly cloudy day with temps in the low 50's.  All the new installed
hives had bees out.  This is a fairly common installation condition for
our area.
