One of the things that I hear on Bee-L from time to time is that beekeepers wouldn't spend thousands of dollars on products, such as Fumagillin, if they didn't get a benefit. The idea that one gets a return for every dollar spent, is simply not true.

Thanks God, bees are not politicians. They are not a part of Hollywood or Bollywood investment options.  They are a livestock and they are business for beekeepers to make living and pollinate our crops for feeding us or keeping healthy environment.



In any case, to make a decision to treat or not to treat, it is not a simple decision. What we are trying to do here is judicious use of antimicrobial including fumagillin. For more info check, metaphylaxix use of antibiotics for managing health.
