I'm sure everyone will have a different opinion based on how often they 
use it, amount of protection, etc.

My favorite is the cotton jacket with zip on veil and soft hat.

Not the cheapest, but has held up well.   The black mesh appears to be 
plastic and hasn't rusted like some old veils I have and the hat is 
comfortable.
May be a bit hot when supering hives in 90+ degree weather, but then I 
just wear a t-shirt and tie on veil of the same style.

I don't like the nylon, light weight version of the same as it tends to 
get snagged badly on thorns.  I also don't like the hooded style veil.
