No worries Pete,  I knew what you meant!      I like to use the Dave Ramsey method of thinking.  turn the sentance around and rephrase it and see it it still fits.
In this case I claim no special knowledge,  Walt write wrote about it many years ago,  and a friend in OH is doing it on a large scale with fantastic honey numbers in what I would of called a poor forage base. (more corn than me)    In fairness,  its taken me 5 or more years to implement.  stuck in that old doubles rut.  the only driving force was jealousy of his numbers.   In fact the first few years I thought he was lying.  Many trips later I realize  hes on target for our foargae base and weather.
I make no claims its the best way for others or in other locations,  which is why reporting it seems a waste to me.  If your not willing to pull honmey on a regular basis,  or if your flow never stops  it may not be the best choice,  just a handy alterntive.
