some obvious problems with the above-

1. correlation is not causation
2. confirmation bias
3. Control the Variables! With a zillion variables between "historical
collections" and today, the study is not too scientifically rigorous.It
could easily be 'Climate Change" as the main reason because it can do
everything.
4. wikipedia is not too authoritative as a prime source.

Richard has more authority since he covers studies from then to now that
refute the hysteria of the times.

BTW- it is actually Climate Change that is causing the thickening of the
egg shells. Just think CO2 increase and calcium carbonate.  97% 0f
scientists agree.
