I have a tree colony removal coming up. I have had varying outcomes in removing tree colonies. I'd like to learn more about your experiences in tree removals with the following methods:

1) drumming on the tree - how it must be done, can one expect the queen to exist out of the entrance hole

2) using repellents - again, how long does one need to wait for a significant effect and can one get the queen this way.

Are there any other methods that you have found to work effectively?

Thank you!

Waldemar

PS. I don't have the time for a cone removal. This location is too far for this method to be practical.
