There are other types of reproductive isolation other than geographical.
Other types of reproductive isolation include habitat, behavioral,
temporal, mechanical and gametic.  All of these are prior to formation of a
zygote and there are three that occur after forming a hybrid.  All of these
would prevent gene flow.
