I'm sure there are many States and Provinces that can accommodate isolated yards for local stock allowing for a wider gene pool in North America. I guess the challenge would be in finding people that would want to give this a go or maybe local Keepers would have to join forces to get it done.
Anyway it does seem like a positive approach.
