No argument on this score- and I don't believe this is the intent of the 'Parallel Evolution' study.

The question rather was, 'Are there any observed traits common to the naturally resistant colonies in the 60 studies evaluated?'

This to my mind is a different question from whether there are other traits at work in conferring resistance  or whether these traits are suitable to commercial apiculture.
