[log in to unmask] asked about the "proper use of Amitraz".  I don't know,
I never used it.  My suggestion would be to follow the label instructions
(if you can find a label to read).
 
Incidently, Amitraz was not "reapproved" it never expired.  At EAS, Dr.
Shimanuki stated that it is still registered under its old license which
never expired.  Bad news is that the holder of the license (Bayer?) is not
interested in re-releasing the product - Once burned, twice shy.
