Thanks Allen!

I might add for those processing honey the important procedure we use for
bacteria.

I always wash all lines and tanks with a solution of Clorox water. Even the
pallets on which honey supers ride. I go to the extreme of spraying flatbeds
. Also the insides of drums to be filled.

I was told by my mentor many years ago to treat all surfaces. I have always
been surprised by the number of hobby beekeepers which drag an extractor out
of the garage and simply rinse with cold water from a non potable water
hose.

My helpers will say I am a fanatic about treatment of all surfaces with a
Clorox solution. I have been told by some beekeepers a waste of time *but*
my friends which work in hospitals & restaurants say not so !
