I would recommend 4X, once per week with Varrox and 2grams per application. It will get most of the mites. I would suggest that you do mite count on a sticky board one week after the last application. If the daily natural mite drop is less than ten 10 on a sticky board you should be OK.
It is also recommended to monitor mites after this treatment once every 10 days due to robbing and drifting at this time of the year. This means your bees could get mites from other colonies in the area. Therefore there is risk of having re infestation.

In this case it is recommended if the mite levels bounces back to 10 mites or higher per day  to repeat the treatment. one or two applications would be sufficient as the brood production would be done for the season.
