However, some others of us are also in direct contact, and also sitting in
meetings with them.

I have great trust in scientific research.  I have distaste for
railroadings, lynchings, and kangaroo courts.  Imidicloprid is currently
being tried in the court of scientific inquiry.  The jury has not yet been
given enough evidence to rule either way.

The court greatly appreciates the anecdotal reports of beekeepers, and takes
the evidence presented by the pesticide companies with appropriate
skepticism.

Currently, the parties are cooperating in "mediation," to see if they can
come to terms of agreement as to the veracity of guilt.

The protesters outside the courtroom are waving placards and shouting, but
the trial continues nonetheless...
