Hey List,

Here in Ontario I've had Formic pads in for about 12 days. There has been a significant mite drop this year. I was experiencing mite drop to numerous to count for about 4 days until it has diminished to about 10-15 per 24 hr. I just wonder if the wet summer weather had anything to do with it. After I removed the supers at the end of August I requeened and in the process of killing the old queen I noticed bees with the tell tell signs of Varroa. Deformed wings. Anyone else noticed an increase?
