Lots of interesting comments by many. And we havent even begun to take into 
account other factors , such as the race of bee, that may influence things 
also.
Peter I have respect for the  beekepers like  Allen who have done it this 
way, many on this list (also some of the qutations cited) are way further 
down the road than myself in beekeeping.
Still, I have reservations...actually I wish you were right..it would really 
simplify my queen rearing.
