Those are the only two choices? First, the inert ingredients have not been studied all that much so there is real *potential* for harm. Second, they vastly increase the effectiveness of products, & the combinations have not been tested, only the active ingredients alone. Third, this topic was raised at the Bee Research conference in Beltsville this winter, so I would not call it fanciful imagining.
