About 20 years ago galvanized wire screening stopped being manufactured in
the United States, principally because the lead used in the galvanizing
process was an environmental hazard. We had tried purchasing from Asia,
but the quality was terrible.

Someone on this site suggested that I contact a company in The Netherlands,
which I did, and they supplied our needs until early this year when they
also stopped galvanizing because of environmental concerns. Since, we have
again tried Asian sources and, again, the quality is terrible.

Anyone have any ideas where we might purchase good quality 5 mesh
galvanized wire screen?
