Allen,

When comparing the sugar shake to the strip test you are comparing apples and oranges.
You are on one hand testing a handfull of bees and on the other tens of thousands.  A
better comparison would be sugar shake versus ether roll.

Since I have never dealt any of these tests or with mites, keep in mind that this is a
purely logical analysis not a practical one.
