I've lost several mating nucs to robbing this year. So far, I have found that setting up a hive body into two nucs is working the best for me. Still it is hit an miss. I am working in all medium boxes, anything less than four frames full of bees can't seem to defend itself. Has any one come up with a robber screen device that will allow the mated queen to enter?
