I appreciate very much all of your comments about my question on drone
colonies, it has been of much help. Reading the messages of this list every
morning is like being in an intense beekeeping course. I have learned a
great deal.

I have another question: Do any of you know if the queen has a preference
of direction when flying for mating? Does she fly on one direction all the
time? Or is every flight just random in direction, distance and duration?
I will appreciate any comments.

Your Mexican beekeeping friend,
