CANOLA

Cibus' new SU Canola(tm) is a non-transgenic (non-GMO) sulfonylurea (SU)
herbicide tolerant canola that is
1) now available in the United States;
2) on track to be available in Canada in 2017; and,
3) expected to be launched in other major global markets after 2018.

*Need:* Farmers are seeking new alternative herbicide modes of actions to
effectively control weeds, in general, but importantly for rotation crops.
In addition, there is a growing market for non-transgenic canola oil.

SU Canola offers farmers:

   - Exceptional broadleaf weed control, excellent crop safety, in an
   economical and easy-to-use package.
   - An alternative for weed control in canola that provides sound
stewardship options to help manage glyphosate resistant weeds.
   - An optimal fit for rotation with glyphosate tolerant soybeans reducing
weed pressure caused by volunteer glyphosate tolerant canola in soybean
   fields.
   - Non-transgenic (non-GMO) premiums offered on the grain.
   - Many participants in the canola industry, including processors,
farmers, and end use food consumers, will benefit from SU Canola as the
oil and meal derived from this canola will address the demand for
   non-transgenic food ingredients.
   - In North America the current canola acreage is 22 million, with the
potential to grow to over 26 million by 2020. The global canola area is
forecast to expand toward 100 million acres and demand for non-transgenic
   oil is growing rapidly.
