Bee calls have skyrocketed here in
SW Pennsylvania, -I've been
doing one cut out per nite and
turning down many calls.

My question is,,,,

When swarms enter a home,
some bees will get confused
in orientating to the entrance,
and enter the living quarters.

They will often die within
hours.

My question is,,,,

Why do these bees die withen
hours? Flys will stay alive for days
bouncing off windows.

The best answer I can 'guess at' is
honeybees convert honey in the
honey sac for energy to live,
and when this runs out, so does
the life of the bee, -whearas
flys get energy off of fat reserves
perhaps? -Is this the reason for
rapid death of lost swarm
bees?

Thanks in advance.
