$20 x 15 K, that's $300,000. Not enough? 

Bad math pete....  increase of cost at 40 per acre.   Nut value at 2400lbs at 2.50 a lb (low value) is 6000,   Would you risk your hives life for another 20.00???

The farmer will risk a 40 expense to ensure his 6k value.....
