Well, I hope this subject doesn't migrate or transfigure into neonic rants or blonde jokes, but we are having a state beekeeping meeting October 30/31 at the Capitol Plaza Hotel in Jefferson City, MO, including a walking tour of the capitol dome.
 
Reportedly, there was a ripple of fear from the elected officials in the capitol when a beek was overheard to say, "this was the time of year that the drones would be driven out."
 
At any rate, Gary Reuter from the Unversity of MN will be the main speaker.  Looking forward to hanging out with a great bunch of beekeepers.
