Hello...here's the question of the month:

Are honey bee eggs polyspermic, and to what degree? Or is just one sperm
donating its genetic material? Are there any references?

Does anyone care to put forth a hypothesis on why there is (or is not) p
polyspermy, knowing that many drones mate with one queen?

thanks,
Paul
