We live in a sue happy society. Thanks for the story Pete!
Which brings us to a interesting subject most hobby beekeepers avoid.
is the money gained from selling hive products a few hundred dollars of hive
products worth the risk of losing your home and savings in a lawsuit?
Are the risks the same if you gave the pollen away?
Interesting questions.
What does the list think?
List lawyers?
Pete carried insurance.
I carry general liability, product liability and everything pertaining to
beekeeping is in my corporate name.
You carry car insurance.
house insurance.
why not insurance for your products & hives?
Only posing interesting questions.
I agree the risk from honey or pollen causing health issues are very very
rare but what of a stinging incident? (Like preacher speaks of)
Interesting subject.
