This whole natural beekeeping vs conventional beekeeping litany is exceedingly tiresome. When I teach about beekeeping, I make a concerted effort to talk about various approaches. Of course I tend to highlight what I think will work, and soft pedal those that don't. 

On the other hand, the naturists condemn with a broad brush anyone who doesn't agree with them. Reminds me of vegetarians. Have you ever noticed they always expect there to be vegetarian food available wherever they go, but if you go to their house, they never think to offer you a nice steak
