Hiya: Small time beekeeper, 7 hives going into winter, seems like 6 now as spring approches. Got a Question. Around the middle of January of this year, 22 degrees F. with 2 ft of snow on ground, I went out to feed and leave my chickens out & the ground was full of dead honeybees , all over the snow, even in the front yard. Anyone got a clue to what happened that night, all hives were not touched. Last year I left the Lord’s honeybees have all the honey that they made last year.
