BEE-L has rules regarding message formats in order to present neat, readable messages that people will actually read, and so that archive searches do not dig up a lot of redundant junk.

Some quoting, done right helps make messages more understandable, but If you are not intimately acquainted with netiquette and the conventions for quoting in email messages, please take some time to understand everything from "Quoted line prefix" on down at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Posting_style#Quoted_line_prefix

Please note that although top and bottom quoting of entire previous messages is acceptable and often appropriate in private emails, that BEE-L specifically prohibits either practice and ALWAYS rejects submissions with excessive quotes of previous messages. Indenting or color marking as an indicator is often lost in email readers, so please use the old faithful carat : '>' before quotes.

Please take the time to look over your messages and check the format before sending them out for 800 people to read.

Thanks.
