Can I add one tip about making foundation using a wax-press?

The plates of the press need to be wetted with a 'release fluid' and
formulae for this usually use washing-up liquid (or detergent). However,
this tend to create bubbles. I have found that rinse-aid for dishwashers is
far superior as it is designed to eliminate foaming.
