The original "races" don't exist in the US nor much of Europe I suppose. I
don't believe anyone has ever shown that there is any difference in nest
preference between "races" anyway. 

There is some very interesting info in Seeley's article. I can't really post
any more of it, since it's copyrighted. I will try to summarize some of the
things he has discovered and send that along soon
