I tried to make up some sugar water
to feed to my bee hive
by boiling some water
and pouring it into two jars
then adding sugar at the proper ratio.

The result was slightly tea colored
unlike earlier batches that were clear.

I've heard that giving bees caramelized sugar
can make them sick.

What should I do with the two gallons of sugar water?

Give it to the bees or throw it away?
