Great discussion, and timely.
I just found 3 hives with EFB in an apiary with 8 hives. Didn't have any
symptoms just 4 weeks ago when I was last in them, and its just in a couple
of frames here and there, but def EFB. I'm in California, and I know we
have the new laws regarding antibiotics for hives here. Something about
needing to buy them through a veterinarian? Has anyone gone through this
process who could guide me as to how the heck a vet will diagnosis EFB? Or
do you just tap a vet friend for a prescription?

Thanks
