 Hi All,

We in western Washington State US have had a lot of rain recently. The
bees have been kept inside do to the weather. We have had about 10 days
with rain. They closed a couple of bridges do to the high water.I had to
drive 60 miles to town , instead of the normal 9 miles.
We had SUN today and the bees were flying very well. I stood in the
middle of about 25 hives and was lifted with joy , watching the bees fly
around me.We study the Honey Bee and know how very complex there behaviors
are as we watch them fly around. We are very lucky to work with such a
wonderful insect. We are learning more about the Honey Bee all the time and
I don't think we will ever get to the end.
We all have our own feeling about the Honey Bee. What is so wonderful ,
is the fact that our love for the Honey Bee has no boundrys. All around the
world we have a common feeling about the Honey Bee.We get are own
pleasures as we work with the Bee.Beekeeping has been around a long time
and I hope we can keep it going well all over the world. We all need to
share our pleasures with others, so we have more beekeepers coming along
all the time.
Today was a wonderful day for me and my Bees. We start rain again
tomorrow. I do have inside work to do , but I will miss those Bees flying
around me in the apiary.I do feel good that someone in this world will
work with his/her Bees tomorrow. We may get some sun again in June. The
truth of the matter is , I like the green grass and trees and without the
rain this place would be brown in the summer.
May all of you enjoy your Bees.

 Best Regards
  Roy
