I misunderstood.
I called and the water type I can rent.
When I picked up the rest of the paint I need I was told creating a rough 
surface in areas that are bare or paint is lifting most likely is all as 
needed. they said letting the floor sit as long as possible also helps.
They also said being self leveling I can simply touch up places.
I purchased most of the paint on sale at 25% off but my wife is not buying 
"I need to wait until goes on sale"
