Since we are uncovering information about where some quotes came from how
about other information. I have heard for years that bees, I am speaking of
European bees not AHB, do not like horses and if you own a horse do not
work your bees with the horsey clothing or even have your hives any where
near the horses. Yet I know a lot of people with horses and bees and they
never have a problem. Where do you think this "old wives tale" came from. I
have yet to see any truth to it. Have any of you heard or been told this or
is it a New England thing? It must of got started some where because it is
one of those things every one has heard of but they have no proof.

Joe do you have any thing on this?
