So my bees are ignoring the source of water I've given them (45 gallon plastic barrel that drips onto wooden board... same one my mentor used), and are now going for my son's sandbox.

What's the best way to attract them back to my water source, and away from his sandbox?

I may just pour some sand onto my wooden board... since they may be going after it for a mineral source. But what can I put on the sandbox to deter them? My oldest is only 2... he's been picking up the bees! Finally got a sting on his finger this week.

Thanks,

Doug.
