But -- did feeding these products to animals cause resistant bacteria in people? Would the problem go away if we stopped doing it? If the answer is no...

Do we know the answer?  Also, do we know whether eating those animals and antibiotics cause growth in humans - most children in the UK seem to be much taller than their parents certainly by their mid-teens.

Doctors here routinely prescribe antibiotics for minor infections, despite the fact that everyone knows that we have a problem.

An aunt of mine who recently died at 92 never took a single pill in her life - not even an aspirin; she was totally opposed to any medicine and just insisted on resting when unwell (rarely) as she said that her body was telling her to do so.
