Simple tried and true method for skunks: use wall-to-wall carpet "Tack
strip". Comes in four-foot
lengths from any carpet installer. A one-foot section tacked on the
outside edge of the entrance
with slanted nails pointed inwards will quickly discourage skunk
scratching, but will not impede
bee activity in the slightest.
