If I define GMO as transfer of DNA from one species to another species in some manner other than by breeding operations then I fail to see how anyone can possibly have a blanket objection to GMO products. After all, every single living human is a brand new, never before tried GMO experiment by the time they are a few years old. By a few years age every one of us has DNA in some cells that came from non human sources instead of from our parents. A small number will even die because in their particular case the GMO experiment went wrong and resulted in cancer or some other disease issue.

I can only conclude those who have a blanket objection are simply so uninformed about the topic they have no legitimate right to even have an opinion.
