I agree with Allen.  Interesting speculation, hard to measure,  especially 
since I've become more and more a doubter of the dance  language.  Our own 
data argues against it - we couldn't condition bees the  way we do, if the 
dance language worked as most describe.    
 
I do think there's a lot going on in the hive - much that we don't  
understand.
