Hi to all,

My comment is regarding the underlined statment. I was asked by a pearl millet grower that bees were excessively harvesting pearl millet pollens to the degree that lowered the final crop production, especially if some draoght is there. My reaction was that pearl millet is pollinated by winds, and bees should help to increase it. I added that ther is no way that bees can cause this to pearl millet plants. Now, after reading the statement above, I should reconsider my self on that point.

I wonder if any one has any info regarding bees and pearl millet pollination, and if bees can cause any harm or bad effects on plants that lead farmers to complain.
