With the new interest in bees it is amazing how many vet types we have in the clubs around here.  Of course we have a vet school here (Texas A&M)so they are not a scarce commodity in the community. One of the early new friends I made here in my current day bee keeping adventures is a vet pathologist (who works for a diagnostic company) and I think he even tossed out his name to the State Apiary Inspector if anyone needs assistance.  I have no idea what he charges but in his primary line of work he use a lot of protographic and microscopic imaging for diagnosis.
